The L.E.A.P.S. Education Program
The following Informational Workshops are conducted by the Dallas Police Department for Security Officers.
- Laws of Arrest
- Thefts & Burglaries
- Criminal Trespass
- Search and Seizure
- White Collar Crime
- Family Violence
Security officers who complete all required workshops are awarded a Certificate of Completion and a L.E.A.P.S. patch to wear on their uniform.
Additional workshops and meetings are conducted throughout the year to facilitate communications between law enforcement and private security.
