The tragic events of September 11, 2001 have dictated a strong commitment from all levels of law enforcement in the war on terrorism. Critical infrastructures vital to our country are protected by members of the private security industry. Now more then ever, it is imperative for law enforcement and all sectors of the private security industry to network our efforts to protect our domestic and international interests.
LEAPS recognizes these new challenges and will continue to foster a strong working relationship between law enforcement agencies and the private security industry in order to protect our country’s interest and our citizens’ safety.

TO PROMOTE THE CONCEPT OF CRIME PREVENTION AND ENCOURAGE JOINT COOPERATION BETWEEN PRIVATE SECURITY AND THE POLICE DEPARTMENT IN ORDER TO REDUCE CRIMINAL OPPORTUNITY.
